All Karla wished for is to go to Hong Kong Disneyland and see the fireworks display up close. Her father, Alex (Christian Vasquez), promised to grant her wish if she continued doing well in school. One day, however, Karla visited her father to work and unexpectedly saw him kissing another woman. From that moment on, Karla vowed not to enter in a relationship in fear of getting hurt.
