I'd like to start with the concept. The entire show gives you of the 90's nostalgia. While it had a brilliant start and the characters were rather interesting. They slowly deviated their show after about 6 episodes to a rather downhill motion.
I actually loved the character of Haley Tju on the show, sadly, as nicely the character was built up, was suddenly put up on the side. I don't think she even played a part of the show after a few episodes. And i kind of went on a binge watching spree for her charcater, as it was fun, and rather chilled out.
I fear the show would rather run out of ideas or get cancelled sooner of later, unless they don't ramp up the script and include the characters properly.
For a show which gives the 90's nostalgia with a 21st century essence.. i sure hope they do that.

Nastalgia for the 90s.

This show is surprisingly pleasant and easy to watch. It brings the same silly adventures from shows from the 90s but with modern twists. Some editing would clean up the bumpy transitions, but if they'd just be brave enough to give it a secondary story, it might be a real hit. Still, it's a fun way to spend 25 minutes.

I have watched a lot of kid's tv over the years with my 8 and 12 year old, and this show is by far my favorite. It often makes me laugh out loud along with having good messages about friendship and family. It seems to be Netflix's version of a Disney Channel show but, unlike most young Disney stars, the two main kids are actually really good actors. My two kids love it and it's nice to have a fun show where we can all watch and laugh together.
Great Show / Wrong Network

If this show were on Disney or Nickelodeon it would be a hit. In fact, it's written better than most I've seen (and I've got kids so I've seen a lot). But Netflix has poorly marketed this show partly because there's not a big enough gimmick or shocking statement about life or some kind of ... whatever. It's a subtly progressive show that's right up there with the best of kids programming.
Is it perfect, no. But the young actors are pretty good and it's well worth showing your 8-12 year old kids. If you can even find it.
