Announced during the 2017 Game Awards.
This game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
The game comes with an option to turn fanservice on and off.
Bayonetta's Original Voice, Hellena Taylor, did not return for this Game due to a Pay Dispute, and was subsequently replaced by Jennifer Hale. According to Taylor, the Studio offered her 4,000 US Dollars to reprise the Role, which she refused and encouraged Fans to Boycott the Game. Platinum Games did not specify how much they offered her, but claimed her Statement was Untrue & fully supported Hale as the new Bayonetta. Later reports state that Taylor was offered 10,000 Dollars, with an Additional 5,000 Dollars offered after Taylor spoke out against it, before the final 4,000 Dollar Offer was given.
