This was a nice piece of light Saturday night television, simple in format and fun to watch.
The panel of 100 judges was made singers of various disciplines and refreshingly hired for their technical skills (such as singing teacher from a notable music school) , ground-roots performance experience and diversity of music styles rather than their individual fame in fact for most people the only recognisable person (other than the host) was Geri "ginger spice" Haliwell .
Rob Beckett kept it pacey and funand the whole thing felt like a party
Judges like "Divina de Campo" then went on to be shows like RuPaul's drag race UK
all in all a great little show for what it was.
