From the cover and the name Today's Menu for the Emiya Family I don't think anyone will relate this anime to the Fate series because Fate is well.....Fate while this one look so normal and wholesome and to be honest that my reaction at well when I first watch the anime and let's me tell you that I'm not disappointed one bit. In 2018 the Fate series hit a new low with Fate/Extra Last Encore an anime that so atrocious and mind numbingly stupid that I don't think even the hardcore fan of the game like it so to see the cast of the OG Fate series including Shinji Matoi the man not even God can forgive look all happy and fluffy in a non-murderous Holy Grail War bring tears of joy to my eyes.

As I said this is canon, the rest of the fate series are just spin-offs.
No fighting no gore no violence just friends having fun while eating. You can get a lot of beautiful recipes for cooking, definitely worth watching.
