Siskel and Ebert Holiday Gift Guide (1988)
Fans of Siskel and Ebert not only got to enjoy their weekly reviews but once a year they also did these tv specials where they'd recommend various items for holiday gifts. Some of the examples here include a train set that has a built in camera. These episodes always showed how strong Siskel and Ebert's on screen personas were and the fact that they really did have a great chemistry. Just watch how they re-act to each other, communicate with each other and they just have a wonderful flow as they talk and review various products. They not only review various products but they also give movie recommendations that people could buy for their family members. The highlight of this is certainly when Ebert allows the camera and into his basement where he keeps his laserdisc and home theater. You know, it was great getting to see where Ebert watches movies and when viewing it today you can't help but be amazed at where technology has come.
