Best kids show on the telly

The Zoo is the best kids show on CBBC right now. Loads of fun, never disrespectful, always entertaining.

I make the kids put it on even if they want to watch something else. It's wasted on kids and should be re-run on BBC3 after 9pm.

Today, Dave the gorilla destroyed Jurgen's much anticipated ice block. I thought it was all going to kick off. Better endings than EastEnders. I look forward to seeing what will happen tomorrow. Yes I am sad. This is what 14 years of kids telly does to you.

But The Zoo is well worth a watch. If you're stuck in CBeebies hell, hang on in there, CBBC is in sight!

Who remember's Johnny Morris? I remember him when I was a kid and this is just like it. Very witty and dry. Great narrator who really gets into it. Probably wasted on kids unfortunately. Has hints of "people like us" about it, but with animals. Jurgan the gorilla is just the best.
