This film went through "post-production hell" by having not backed up the files. They were lost for nearly a year and a half until it was recovered. It then went through three other editors until it hit its fourth and final editor who saw the project to its release.
The location used is the same house that Iron Monkey Films used to film their short, "Cherrywood". The house belonging to Cody Kuehn's parents.
The original title was going to be "The Intruder," but six other films were being listed under that name at the time. The title was changed last minute to "The Last House on Wilkins Street."
The rain in the short was created by the crew, using garden spray wands.
This is the first film Cody Kuehn has worked on, marking the start of his career.
