Although it was partly filmed in the Curragh Camp in Kildare, and set in 1995, the uniforms worn by the "soldiers" is a British army uniform (looks like the '85 Pattern, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
At that point, the Irish Defence Forces were issued Olive Green uniforms, the Irish Pattern DPM (Paddyflage) only came on mainstream issue in March 2000 but was issued to overseas troops about six months before that.
