Nassos Zotis, the writer and Director of PAWNS, dreamed this script. When he woke up the next morning, wrote it down on a small piece of paper. Four months later, the screenplay was finished.
The film was shot in three days. Nassos Zotis, used the Library from Panteion Universtiy of Athens. When he first saw the location and the long table, he was certain that this is the best place for the film, because that was exactly how he dreamed it.
Natassa Louppou, the casting director, acting couch and director assistant, told the actors Achilles Vatrikas and Vassilis Stratis to go home and write a completed biography of their characters, in order to understand them.
