Not bad, better than many of it´s contemporaries

These types of show have been getting progressively more overly dramatic with the producers seizing on any opportunity, no matter how small to create some long lasting drama. I remember one show where some woman stub her toe and they managed to stretch the drama of that out over the whole episode.

This is different, Matt Graham is squared away, I think that we call all agree that he has good skills and good judgement, he brings this show down to earth inspite of the producers constantly trying to make a drama out of everything.

The whole concept is decent, I enjoyed it but I just dont see why they have to cheapen the show with the silly movie score, dramatic music.

It´s a good enough show and I hope to see more of Graham in the future.

Men contestants and jewelry.

Are the male contestants and their helpers required to wear multiple necklaces, bracelets and patterned scarves? I mean, the women are wearing stuff that, to me, is a little odd for survivalists in the bush , such as red lipstick and dangle earrings, but they are women. I watched this because I like this kind of show, but it is pretty much on the lower rung of 'survival' type shows. The second episode "High and Mighty" is a really good example of the male adornments, with at least two necklaces, and numerous scarves, both on the heads and around the neck. I also wish they would explain where they are that they can just hack up perfectly good trees to build an ultimately unneeded shelter.
