- A male manager sensually kisses his female employees' hands against their wishes every time they finish their shifts. It clearly disgusts and disturbs them, and it is uncomfortable to watch.
- Couple of times character is in a bra changing. No nudity at all is shown in this film. The most you see in the back of the female.
- While two teenage girls are sitting on a subway train, the only other person on the car is a man. The man stares at one of the girls, unzips his pants, and starts to pleasure himself. No nudity is seen.
- Kissing between two characters

- Main character beats her stomach in multiple times. You see bruises a couple scenes later.
- Near the beginning, a character heats the tip of a safety pin, then uses it to pierce her own nose. It takes place entirely onscreen, with blood pooling around the piercing as she pushes the pin farther through. She then stares at the safety pin through her nose in the mirror for a few seconds. It looks extremely realistic and may make some viewers uncomfortable.
- Animal cruelty: There's a scene where they play tick tac toe against a chicken held inside a cage.

- Alcohol is shown in the film. The father is drunk as well as a karaoke scene where they drink beer.

- Main character is a 17 year old going through an abortion. Some scenes may be disturbing and can be uncomfortable to watch.
- A scene takes place towards the beginning where a pregnant girl beats herself in an attempt to force a miscarriage. Not inherently scary but very difficult to sit through for some.

Sex & Nudity
- Nothing sexual. Some kissing is show and moments that involve sexual harassment. During an intake interview at the Planned Parenthood, it is implied from the girl's reaction it is likely she is pregnant as a result of a rape by someone. We see her undergo the abortion without any explicit detail or nudity.
- During a survey scene, there is mention of partners being forced into sexual acts. Nothing graphic happens, just referenced. Also mentions different sexual acts such as vaginal, intercourse, oral and anal.
