Holt tells Jake and Kevin that his friend in the organized crime division says they will be moving on Sheamus Murphy that night. In prior scenes, it was Terry who was said to have a friend in the organized crime division keeping them appraised of the Sheamus Murphy situation, not Captain Holt.
Both Kevin and Captain Holt refer to the term "Dirtbag" as "a useful part of a vacuum" with Kevin adding "I don't see how it's an insult" and Captain Holt saying "clearly it's a compliment." However in The Pontiac Bandit Returns (2014) Amy uncovers an old case of Holt's where he arrested the Brooklyn Broiler - the flashback to which shows Holt saying "You flamed out, dirtbag!" Then when Amy approaches him about it, he reiterates "That dirtbag flamed out ages ago..."
Scully says he is really good at jigsaw puzzles when putting together the paper shreds. However, he previously stated that he has never solved a puzzle.
Jake and Kevin's phones and laptop were confiscated by Raymond when they entered the safe house, and they do not possess them when they go to the library. However, on the bus ride back from the library, Jake suddenly has a phone with which he engages in several text message exchanges with Raymond and later uses to call the 9-9 for backup after Holt is taken by Murphy's men.
Captain Holt wears his Commendation breast bar above his World Trade Center Breast Bar. When the WTC bar is worn, it is worn above all other medals but below the American Flag bar.
