A documentary with an Ingenious coverage of the run
ToddRee27 July 2020
It is a very interesting documentary which follows through the entire journey of the run from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The documentary has very engaging and inventive visuals & frames. The interviews take the story forward. Has a sportive-type of background music. I felt the film had huge support from Indian and Australian Governments, it slightly appeared as a promotional clip at some places in the film. Though, the run has an amazing run though of the 64-days. Must watch!

Usually films on real characters makes them look very good and nice, this is such an honest film which looks at the main character and his team very honestly. Loved the music and visuals.

Should not miss this one!

What an amazing concept. The run of 64 days has many flavours to watch, locals on the streets to the incredible cultures covered on camera. Beautifully presented and the music compliments the story totally. Very compact and justified execution of the topic... One of the great sportive genres and has a nice setting in a foreign country.

Once in a while kind of documentary

I like watching documentaries occasionally, this is one of the recommendations from a friend of mine. It started of quite good but as and when it paced, I got really involved in the journey. It's a very different sort of sports doc, not very common and especially has a fundraising element attached to it. It unfolds slightly dramatic elements later but it's quite obvious to happen when The Run is that tuff! I think all in one, its a very captivating documentary with many tiny little scenes. I love the idea of directors point of view and especially the music chosen for it. It gives a goose-bump feel towards the end. Watch It!!

Outstanding Premise!

Usually documentaries take some 10 minutes to build a connection with its audience but this one, right from the very first frame had very intriguing connection. An outstanding premise with beautiful background music. Watching the documentary gives you a feel of being on the journey with the protagonist. It seems a tough job to cover the run on camera for these many days, the director does a great job! Lookin' forward to more such documentaries.

A great watch with unexpected innovative layers of the film

This is a good watch for those who are interested in adventurous and marathon related documentaries. It shows the coverage of the run from south to the north of India in 64 days. It is a colourful and blends with the natural taste of the country. The director has tried to keep it raw and simple. The best thing I liked about this film is the very interesting frames and the extravagant coverage included alongside. The background score also lights up the mood of the film at several places, which is really another plus point. It adds up to the realism of this documentary.
