...or disturbing. Or fascinating. The journey of an ant. Long, dangerous, fascinating. You admire the animation and, a good part from film, you feel be the only virtue of "Overrun" It is not exactly the wrong thought . But the final gives a special light and trait and dramatism to this beautiful short animation.

An ant's struggle
Rectangular_businessman7 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The insect world is both fascinating and horrifying, and it's kinda unfortunate many artist wouldn't even dare to tackle it due the the "ickiness" factor; some would also claim insects aren't too relatable to audiences as mammals or birds.
But in all honesty, even when the ant protagonist from this short is not anthropomorphized in any way (opposed to stuff like Antz or A Bug's Life) the brief, but intense scene where the little things struggles for its life, loses a leg, and apparently dies manages to be genuinely distressing, being perhaps far more intense than any moment from the aftermentioned movies.
This type of story has enough potential for a full feature lenght film.
