  Jonah Hex : That'd be the old sheriff.

  [they hear a noise outside; leaving the tavern, they see Blackbeard, Julius Caesar, and Freydis Eriksdottir ride in on horseback] 

  Jonah Hex : This the trouble you aiming to avoid?

  Wally West : It's actually "Malice".

  Mick Rory : It's actually Mallus.

  Julius Caesar : If you surrender the six totems.

  Zari Tomaz : It's a computer program I designed to act as a temporal beacon.

  [seeing his confusion] 

  Zari Tomaz : Like a smoke signal. Sara wants us to find new totem bearers, but we're a little short on allies.

  Jonah Hex : Well, the Legends, they may be an unorthodox lot, but they got a knack for making friends.

  Zari Tomaz : Like you?

  Jonah Hex : I don't take a shine to most folks.

  Zari Tomaz : Me neither.

  Jonah Hex : Hmm. Well, you send out a smoke signal... I'll bet you a greenback you get a response.

  Zari Tomaz : I'll take that bet.
