Excellent, Fresh Idea for Trailers!
Comic_Central19 January 2018
Deadpools "Gettin' wet on wet with Deadpool 2" is a short film that acts as the first trailer for Deadpool 2.

I think this is a excellent and fresh idea for trailers. Nowadays trailers reveal to much about the movie so the best way to get around that? Don't show any of the movie. That is somewhat incorrect though as this short film does show very small clips from the movie to come. In these clips we don't find anything about the plot or even who the villain is and that's what makes me love it so much. The only down thing I can think of about this short film is that we didn't get to see much of Cable in it. But other than that I loved the comedy of this and it made me laugh a few times during it and kept me entertained to the end. Some things such as what Deadpool put on the Bob Ross painting and got shocked or afraid of is a tad confusing. But that's only a very, very minor thing and I like it more than I don't as it adds more mystery to the movie. With everything considered I am going to give this a 9/10.

Great Promotion for a film. Bad for learning how to paint
GamerGuy21109 July 2018
When I started watching this I was hoping to watch a painting video but I ended up with this some-what funny and calm video about Deadpool teaching kids how to paint.

But it turns out to be promoting Deadpool 2 which is a good film, can't lie about that.

Thanos should have blipped before this was made.

This is another overrated flop. Deadpool is not funny.

Deadpool rips off the legendary artist, and people have the audacity to call this funny. Where was the funny parts? I didn't see or hear any.

Honestly, It's really not Deadpool ripping of the legend because Deadpool is a fictional character. It's these lame writers and producers. They are the ones making up these hash skits. They think dressing up a fictitious character into a legendary artist is funny?

Well, if they have a dull fanbase I can't entirely blame them for coming up with simple gags for their simple fans. I mean, we got 2 immature Deadpool movies and that ain't saying much. Is it? They made simple millions from their simple fanbase.

Last Words Hashpool. Deadpools.

This is a trailer for a film. It isn't a short film. Delete this page.

Okay idea, but not much beyond that

Warning: Spoilers
"Gettin' Wet on Wet with Deadpool 2" is an American live action short film that got released on Youtube less than a month ago and racked up millions and millions of views. It runs for slightly over 2 minutes and is basically an appetizer for the next upcoming Deadpool stuff, which will surely be a lot. It seems to be one of these superhero franchises where comedy trumps all, mostly story-telling sadly, but maybe I am wrong as I have not yet seen the first Deadpool film starring Ryan Reynolds. Anyway, this one here does not get me curious either. The idea to have Deadpool posing there as a Bob Ross lookalike in costume was pretty hilarious, but almost everything he does or says is not even remotely funny. It's more on the try-hard side shoving one "funny" line after the next into our faces, but sometimes less can be more. Quantity over quality. It's probably also essential to know Ross in order to appreciate this one and I can only say here in Germany not too many do, so if you have no idea who he is, then skip it and if you do, then skip it too perhaps as after the initial entertainment factor from the costume has vanished, there is really nothing to it. As disappointing as the previous Deadpool promotion short named "No Good Deed" (I guess that explains the 2?). Watch something else instead.
