It's fitting that early on we see two of the characters from the first episode since that one and this one share a sense of setting things right.

There are multiple stories/flashbacks within the story yet you can easily follow Simon's life, how he was treated and the difficulties he faced.

It's the resolution of the problems Simon faced that had me praising the story and hoping for more episodes like this one.

A must watch

There has been some very good episodes in this short series but this one is outstanding. It tells the story of a fragile young man who loses everything at an early age and spend the rest of his life trying to get control of his life back. It is not a happy movie in that sense but the story is told with such mastery that you will want to keep watching to know what happens next. Watch it to the very end :)

*Spoiler Alert* I liked this episode. Was waiting for that whole time, and wanted it to be on Dad or Ondine, but was satisfied with the ending. And the Pet Shop Boys song was just perfect at the end.

Finally, The Romanoffs gets good

The Romanoffs hasn't exactly been a success, but there have been glimmers of good storytelling among this season. I think both this episode and last week's episode were really good, and they seemed to finally capture what Matthew Weiner intended for with this show.

Absolutely the best episode with a twist ending that completely threw me for a loop. Not going to say anything to give it away but if you've been watching the series, the best is the last. I had to watch it again afterwards.

Award-worthy masterpiece

Very timely and exceptionally well-crafted tale of revenge. It's truly epic and steers to an extremely satisfying conclusion. The script, the directing and the performances are something else.

If you're looking for something to watch that will entertain you for an hour or so, this is perfect. Loved the story! Twist that I figured out with about 20 minutes left, but how it played out was awesome. Great soundtrack too :)

Profound story

I watched this one twice. Such a profound story and the most classic of katharsis. The evil characters are well protrayed even if it is hard to watch at times. Simon /Candace is the most beautiful portrayal of a trans person I've seen on tv, not just there for representation or for the sake of diversity but as a human with the most toxuthing story. I liked this series in general but this episode is by far my favorite.

Terrible

This was the worst of the episodes. The "secret" of the entire show was evident in the first few minutes. I only kept watching because I thought I must be wrong. The acting was uninspired, and the character we are intended to feel for is actually a horrible, vengeful person. The story was at times incoherent, often illogical and poorly worked out. Troubling premises and coincidences are never explained.

I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing

Why did we watch this whole mess. It starts on a french train in modern day, and ends up going to 2 other temporal eras, with confusion on the connection of them all. Character development was completely backwards and uninteresting, like we are supposed to know the ending first, and the beginning later. If there is a second series, we will not be watching. We don't find it entertaining, but rather self indulgent writing of the creators.

You had me until the last few minutes..

How can a character be sympathic when they kill someone innocent for a pair of earings and to make a point and get one over on someone that had wronged them and they will never know it was them? It's weirdly overlooked by a lot of these reviews I see. What had that half brother ever done? Wasn't he inclusive when he knew he/she was? The viewer didn't know either or it wouldn't have worked..

Talk about a great character who then murders someone, dones a hero walk to a song - which probably should have been Small Town Boy as it fits better and involves trains in the music video & is somewhat ambiguous. ..as if it's a superhero flick... gez. Didn't someone earlier say about how they got their bones broken just, because they were in the way?

Maybe they should have done it about a suicide bomber whos family has been killed? Naaaah weirdly not so palatable.

Just so weird how people are okay with the murder of one and not the other. Tell me whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy?

Hero to zero in seconds - 9 to 3 stars. Wow. I wonder what song will play - after they've checked the cctv on the train and the stations exit film. As they are going to prison for murder; doing a hero walk still.. maybe.. Living With A Hernia?
