the second episode
In the first episode, the historical frame- introduction can be accepted. In the second , the sketches of characters are mixed by a sort of wind. Rupert Everett gives only a sort of shadow of Bernardo Gui, using the experience of bad guys in the manner of superficial routine. Michael Emmerson propose an awful abbot , like a sort of not inspired joke. And the young Damian Hardung is lost in the clothes of his Adso. The dialogue is bad, the crumbs from text - bad used. All seems a sort of improvisation. But the hope, for the next episodes, remains.
