  • Some kissing. Surprisingly tame for a horror film.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence is all in the second half of the film and it is BRUTAL. There are graphic depictions of brutal and graphic violence shown very realistically.
  • A character is beaten to death offscreen. We do not see the beating but we hear it happen.
  • A character is tackled and beat up, resulting in some bloody wounds.
  • A character is choked to near death.
  • A character is hit in the head with a bat. Some blood.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The first half is an atmospheric slow burn with generally creepy moments. The second half is faster and contains much more violence and disturbing imagery once the clowns are introduced.

Violence & Gore

  • A character is beaten with a bat offscreen. Their mangled face is seen shortly after which could be very upsetting for some.
  • A character is hit twice in the head with a bat, killing them.
  • A character has a ball stuffed down their throat and they suffocate. We see the suffocation in a long single shot with no edits. This scene is by far the most brutal and disturbing scene in the film.
  • A character has their throat slashed and is presumably disemboweled. The scene is very dark but there is some blood and disturbing imagery/sound effects that accompany it.
  • A character is beaten to death by a large crowd wielding various weapons. We only see the beginning of the beating and the aftermath of it with the character covered in blood with their head beaten in.
