Lindy Booth and John Larroquette in The Librarians (2014)

Goofs

And the Graves of Time

The Librarians

Edit

Continuity

When Stone first reads the Slavic riddle in the Library, he says, "In an egg within a duck within a hare". When Flynn recites the same riddle to Eve and Nicole in the Polesie forest, he says, "In an egg within a hare within a duck".

Factual errors

In the woods with Nicole, Flynn converts a phone camera into a radiation meter that will detect "...high-energy gamma protons..." Gamma rays are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and are composed of high energy photons, not protons.
The writing on the signs outside the restricted military area are in Latin letters. But Ukraine uses Cyrillic, as correctly shown on the road sign by the river displayed on Apollon's tablet.
The registration number on Nichole's motor bike (2H4K 9D7) doesn't conform to current UK (GB) layout. Current GB number plates follow a layout of 2 letters, 2 Numbers and then 3 Letters. (AA11 ABC) The first two letters indicate where the vehicle was registered/purchased, the two numbers tell when the bike was registered and the last three letters are random. This Layout has been in place since 1 Sept 2001. Currently new vehicles carry the numbers 67 denoting it was purchased between 1 Sept 2017 and 28 Feb 2018. From 1 March 2018 the numbers will change to 18 and remain like that until 1 Sept 2018 when it will become 68. Personalised number plates also follow this rule of 2 letters, 2 Numbers and 3 Letters but you must have the two numbers relate to a year even if the vehicle was not purchased in that year. It is possible to have a registration number YE55 MAM! Personalised number plates can also follow layouts prior to the 2001 change but you cannot mix numbers and letters like that shown on this plate. The blue side flash containing the circle of stars - the symbol of the European Union (EU) and the letters GB on the left side of the number plate however is correct.
When Eve and Nicole ride off on the Motorbike, neither of them are wearing helmets which is a criminal offence in the UK .
Flynn improvises a Geiger counter by covering the cell phone's lens with resin so only "high-powered gamma protons" can pass. He means "photons".

Errors in geography

Nicole's last known location is described as being "just outside of Lancashire, England". Since Lancashire is a county of 1,189,000 square miles and bordered by 5 other counties and the Irish Sea, the chances of Cassandra opening a door to "just outside of Lancashire" and it being even remotely close to Nicole's location, are pretty slim.

Plot holes

When Rasputin's men return from their fight with Nicole and Baird, he goads them into doing another job for him by asking if they're "scared of a couple of women?". However, even if he was correct in deducing that Nicole had beat them up, neither of them made mention of a second woman for them to be scared of.

Character error

When Baird claims to have climbed K2 in the Himalayas, Nicole Noone quips "Bet you had an army of Sherpas to carry you up!" In contrast to Everest and other "tourist" peaks, K2 is a famously challenging high-risk climb. No amount of helpers can "carry" inferior climbers up its slopes who lack highly advanced skills and training.
