Jayanti is a rich girl married to poor Visu for love . She inherits her father's property and they live in a palatial mansion with two daughters . Jayanti is very status conscious and strict with her family . Visu is henpecked and tolerates all her tantrums quitely . Their daughter Rekha is in love with driving instructor Mohan . Visu sees this change to train Mohan into taming his wife .
Some scenes are dragged too long to show Jayanti's dominating nature . Rekha has a middle class look . Mohan , of course, shines in any role .
