A scouser from Merseyside goes on a journey to learn about Bill Shankly's hometown in Glenbuck, Scotland. However, the town has faded away back into the green hills of the Scottish countryside. Football was the way out and for a few, its talents was more than any big city city in the UK.

Utterly charming

Massive thanks to the film makers for making such a great effort in finding the places and people to tell the story of the great Willie Shankly and the village of Glenbuck.
A story that should be told as sadly soon it will be impossible to tell in the same way.
It felt almost as if a family member had made this film, which is meant as a compliment. In a way it has been made by a family member, the family of Liverpool F. C. A truly heart warming film, made with love and compassion for everyone involved.
