Rebecca is unimpressed with her new lodgings. Sister Francis discovers an attempt to smuggle vodka into the convent. However, the pace of life allows Rebecca to think about her father.
Convent life proves too much for two of the girls and a fight breaks out - at the top of a cathedral. Sister Linda calms the situation teaching the girls about forgiveness. The girls persuade the nuns to let them go out to the local pub.
The Mother Superior sets the girls a challenge revealing their charitable side with young homeless people and visiting a care home to meet elderly residents who have lost loved ones. But the biggest challenge is 24-hours of silence.
The sisters set the girls their final test, to go home for a week and put to work the lessons that they have learned. They will then return to the convent to see who has changed the most.
