Actor Drew Fortier surprised his then girlfriend Tharasa DiMeo by proposing to her on the set during a take of a scene they shared together on the first night of production. She said yes.
To portray the role of Stephen Booth, writer/director James L. Edwards gained 40 pounds and partially shaved his head, giving the appearance of male pattern baldness. Due to production setbacks as well as terminating the original lead actress and recasting, it was a look that Edwards had to maintain on and off for a year and a half.
