As Rick, fascist Morty and Mr. Meeseeks are ejected from the vehicle into outer space, it is absolutely silent; you cannot hear any of them scream. This is an exceptional discontinuity as the show adopts at least a droning background hum for all space scenes.
The show never explains why Rick flies places in his UFO disc-shaped craft, to commute, nor how long it takes or the propulsion means etc, as he does in this episode. It begs questions such as why not use the portal gun / what is the utility or usefulness in bringing a flying space vehicle.
