Burak Özçivit boring AF! Probably this is his most "Epic Fail"!!! The plot is also a failure.

I wasn't expecting much before see it, still it was a disappointment. The story is about a group Of Turkish soldiers on a mission in Syria. They were on this mission and when it seems very hopeless, a jet pilot endangered himself to save them and his jet crashed. Before the crash he left the jet with parachute so he survive but He was alone and he needed to save this field filled with terrorists. The group search for him in this very dangerous war zone. At the same time terrorist group was planning a big strike. And the missing pilot find out about this plan while his survival journey. When the group and the pilot met they end up saving 2000 Turkish soldiers with killing the terrorists with plan. And saved by Turkish forces in last minute again. And by the way the jet pilot died in the end.
The characters weren't deep enough and so cliché: Especially we don't know anything about the pilot even though he is one of the main characters. Don't get me started on Alparslan. He lost his family with terrorist bomb. That flash back scene was so unrealistic. Bomb seems to has no effect except killing the child and her mother. Alparslan was few meters away and he just heard the sound of the bomb. I would say why would a terrorist choose to bomb this not crowded area but i'm pretty sure some Turkish people come and say "would you prefer they bomb a crowd?" I would say how the whole team survived that battles this is unrealistic but probably they'll say "would you like to see them die?" But of course pilot died in the end just to add a death to drama. Which we all know war is way more horrible and dramatic.
The battles were like a video game. Actually no. The video games are way better now. Effects were horrible. The dialogues were cliché too. Obviously the aim is not try to do a good movie with deep characters and good dialogues and point at a tragedy. It was trying to touch a Turkish peoples nationalists feelings with very expensive and handsome (hollywoodish) actors. But I admit the only expectation I built was because of the leas actors. But nothing can save this movie.

This movie is a sample of good progress of Turkish Cinema Sector in recent years. I liked the acts and scenario. I had felt their desperation, devotion and kindness. Also movie itself gives information to world about how people lives in east side of Turkey.

Not from a perspective of comparing with equivalent hollywood movies, but considering that it tells the raw story of how and what turkey faced. I got here after watching Boru. If you haven't watched that series/movie do watch that too.
