Very promising

While not every sketch hit the mark, the majority did & when they were on target they were very funny.

Not afraid to parody their own culture(s) & gloriously self deprecating this comedy is a breath of fresh air.

Samson Kayo being the standout performer, he should have his own series of 'Midsomer M*********ing Murders'

I hope the series is picked up

Belly Laughs

Funny, funny stuff. The outtakes from this show must be brilliant because I don't know how they get through some of the sketches with a straight face. The satire doesn't stop, especially when one line can take down three stereotypes. Super talented folks relentlessly delivering the goods.

Hilarious and a breath of fresh air

In the UK, and the world, we're all lucky to enough to have experienced different cultures in one way or another. Finally we have the first sketch show celebrating Black British culture since The Real McCoy ended in 1996. The parodies and stereotypes of cultures in this show are spot on and hilarious.

Moses Mountree is by far the funniest and he could have a show all to himself. Some sketches, as with any sketch show, may miss the mark, but on the whole this is thoroughly enjoyable. At 20 mins an episode, it's the perfect show to jump in and out of.

Really funny

This sketch show is refreshing and new approach in a recognisable sketch show format. Midsummer Murders is hilarious with a Shaft type character in Midsummer Murders. Nigerian TV is alsohilarious. I was in histerics all the way through the first two episodes. Asks some relevant questions about attitudes towards black people but in a way that makes you laugh out loud. Highly recommended.

Great show I just stumbled upon on BBC iPlayer randomly. I'm loving it. Easy watching sketch show with some uncomfortable but hilarious humour.

Laugh out loud new comedy. I casually sat down for an episode and watched both series solidly.

Watch it :-)

Comedy it is not

Cliche driven rubbish, stereotypical and just not funny. You can have all the goodwill in the world but still end up with no surprises at all.

Dull and predictable

If you didn't know it was BBC you'd soon guess.

Might've worked about 25 years ago,but the jokes now feel obvious and repetitive.
