While the concept of jumping forward in time to prevent a death that is about to happen is in itself pretty original (as far as I know) it does not serve ANY purpose at all.

You get a signal that some will die in 33 days. You need fancy (and probably expensive) equipment and personnel to make the jump to that point in the future. You disrupt the life of couples because one will be gone for over a month from the partner's perspective. When you arrive 33 days in the future, quick decisions need to be made to prevent the death. For the company, the agent doing the jump will also be gone for over a month, basically paying him an entire month's salary for just one day of work. Agent's doing frequent jumps will skip years and years of their life in actual time, in effect appearing not to age at all to other people, which might cause people to ask questions and get suspicious. There are a LOT of complications of people constantly skipping months of time.

Meanwhile, you could just wait out the moment of death which will not happen for over a month. You won't need fancy "jumping" equipment to go forward in time. Lifelines of partners won't be disrupted because nobody will be gone for a month. You don't need to hurry to prevent the death, you'll have over a month to prepare. Agents won't be gone for a month from the company's perspective but could actually prevent multiple deaths in that month. Nobody will skip years of their lifeline and will age naturally like everybody else.

This is really a MAJOR plothole in this entire show. It really makes NO SENSE to do the jumping forward.
