Retrograded episode
eatpajdittsvin-520-81115027 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The idea of retrogrades supplanting sports fans could have worked (absurdity is after all a cornerstone of South Park) but I don't find the execution of this episode to be terribly strong. It might have been useful to expand on why NFL thinks retrogrades fit said role, or otherwise to have intertwined this plot with another to give it more meat.

I might add I'm not a big fan of Heidi, and it is another reason why this episode (and season) isn't working too well for me, although you may rightfully have a different opinion here.

Finally that guy got revenge. That girl became lovely beast. The best episode of this season so far.

Best of the season!

This is easily the best episode of the entire season. I admit that some of it was childish, but it was still hilarious. This episode features a special ed science exhibit where Nathan and Mimzy try to outdo Jimmy and Timmy. Meanwhile, Cartman's girlfriend Heidi ends up looking and acting more like Cartman. I admit that it's funny to see her get fat and be angry at everything. Every Cartman seems to think that she's gone too far! Jimmy and Timmy's project features them researching water bears or tardigrades to try to make them smarter.

Anything with Nathan and Mimzy is hilarious. They try to kill the water bears but end up making them smarter to the point where they learn how to do the hokey pokey. Some people come in to study the water bears but they're not working for the government. They're working for the NFL! They're not trying to study the water bears for concussions (which is what everyone including Jimmy and myself thought) but are trying to turn them into fans. We even see them wear little shirts and hats! That's so hilarious! ****

Starts off decent, gets way worse.

Warning: Spoilers
At first glance, I thought that this episode was actually pretty good. Most Nathan and Mimsy episodes are interesting and have a lot of funny moments. In this episode, they are trying to stop Jimmy and Timmy's science project. However, they accidentally make the water bears a lot smarter. However, I could say less for the subplot with Eric and Heidi. At this point in the season, it was just getting old and repetitive, with the only stand-out being Heidi's weight gain and her turning into a female version of Cartman. While it's not horrible, I just got tired of this story. However, the NFL story was just awful. It becomes so anti-climactic as they just invade the school and use the water bears as NFL spectators. This episode is mediocre. They could've made a way better storyline with the NFL.
