When Pride excavates the 150 year metal box from under the threshold of the storefront, the contents within, mostly paper, are all intact and have no appearance of water damage. While Hurricane Katrina submerged most of New Orleans, only a few of the outer blocks of the French Quarter were flooded. The real Pharmacy Museum was not in the flood zone, so the box would not have been affected by Katrina's waters.
When Tammy returns to the cemetery at the end of show, the square bulge of her microphone pack can be seen under the back of her shirt.
Loretta is explaining to Pride that she found unknown bacteria in the victim's lungs. As she is telling him this she walks over to the counter and picks up a yellow-top SST (serum separator tube) and shows him, implying it has something to do with the bacteria she found. This tube is used to collect blood samples, and has nothing to do with bacteria and/or the culturing of bacteria.
When Agent Pride is in the grandmother's ransacked house with the victim's sister, she begins to straighten up, standing chairs and pictures up, etc. Pride doesn't stop her or say anything even though forensics/crime scene hasn't been there to take photos yet. He allows her top continue disturbing the crime scene.
To reveal the 150 yr old metal box, Pride blatantly smashes through 150 yr old tiling. Pride has been portrayed as someone who values the history of the city. Destroying such an item would be against his nature.
