Here's what you need to know. Every episode is the same. Talk to some guy who knew Pablo. Follow a lead. Explain how the equipment is state of the art. Find a place to dig. Find nothing.

Boring after a couple of episodes... At least the music is dramatic!

A great Story done the WRONG way

By now you know, any documentary produced by mainstream media follows the exact same formula to the DOT. I mean even the soundtrack is something we have heard over a hundred times on very similar shows.

Endless repeats of the same footage, continuous recapping of the story in order to save production expenses and extend airtime. A sad, overused and quite anoying way to produce documentaries...

Why two ex-CIA guys are responsible for the search is pure show. They never ever come across a situation where their skills or training produce better intel than what a common human, with average IQ, would be able to find.

The saddest thing is that if the producers would have done their homework and researched the places these "spies" combed through; a lot of history, wonderful tales and extraordinary footage could have been shown...

Too sad Discovery is getting lazy, repetitive and "creativeless". Then again that is why I precisely stopped watching TV over 5 years ago. An industry grown lazy and unmotivated...

Watch only if the snow blizzard in your hometown leaves you stranded for weeks and you got tired of playing Monopoly.

They have turned 1 hour of meaningless footage into a Series. At every break they repeat the same banter over and over again. Replay the same footage over and over again. Its absolute RUBBISH.

Horrible Americanised "Documentary"

What can I say. I've watched the first 5 episodes. All of which could quote easily be summarised in one episode if they cut out all of the repeated footage around advert breaks. If this was a decent English documentary like finding the Roman treasures in national geographic. Cut out off of the crap. They find what they need to find. No false suspense and waiting till the next episode.

Gone are the days when a documentary didn't have to appeal to someone with a single digit iq

Please don't waste your time watching. 6 Hours of my life that I will never get back :(

If you grab yourself a shovel and start aimlessly digging around your garden then you are definitely more likely to find Pablos millions than these guys. Seriously the worst series I have ever watched.

This is a carbon copy of "Curse of Oak Island". Basically, they never find anything. I am pretty sure they will never find the millions.Do not waste your time on this. Season one never found anything, season two... your not fooling me twice.

I would be suspious of the church and Surroundings. The pastor creates a Large smoke screen by telling you that You will die soon! True people of the Church do not believe in witchery! The money is there!! Lose the guard Of the church he knows something!

Pathetic Fake Low Budget BS

So the budget for this show must be around $50. It consists of three buddies who act like they are very investigative, and can get a library card. They talk to the camera, and explain all of the amazing evidence they have discovered of Pablo Escobar's 156 kilos of gold bars that are buried somewhere in Mexico.

Most of the show consists of these losers talking to each other in their apartment, about their "investigation" into the hidden treasure of Pablo Escobar, and who they talked to about it.

No actual video of the investigations, but apparently these clowns are confident that they will find the gold soon, since nobody else knows about it. How did this garbage get on TV? ... Wow... What... Utter... Crap.

Science saves the day in this show.

I would have rated this 1 star if it wasn't for the exception performance of the technical crew. Once again intelligent people triumph over the dim witted lead stars. It was upsetting to watch the lead stars make fun of the technical crew who looked to be doing stellar work.

Hopefully they reboot this series from the perspective of the geophysicists. I would watch that in a heartbeat.

Whoever split out and edited the footage in to episodes is an absolute shambolic excuse for an editor Sack him and never let the likes of which happen again.

Whoever decided that this footage was worthy of TV should be immediately fired and removed from historical documents.

If those guys were in the CIA then no wonder 911 happened they are a couple of fumbling muppets.

Whatever you do in life avoid this nonsense show like the plague its as good as drinking mercury you will come away dumber for it.

A "one" star, because zeroes are not allowed.

Two incompetent, bumbling, naiive, *gullible* fools that quite obviously don't know what they're doing...and I'm very dubious about what capacity they had with their proclaimed employment of "former CIA agents".

How likely is this, dear viewer: "Hey, buddy - we're from the US of A, here to search Escobar's old properties for buried money and other treasures that everyone else missed. Can you help us? Oh, you can?! Thanks! I have a good feeling about this!" ...LOL! Okay, yeah....because the locals wouldn't think of searching for anything, themselves.

How likely is it that if there was a sincere hope of success of finding anything, the governments - even local governments, wouldn't have a representative on hand to make sure the government seized it?

And, who would finance such a moronic show?!

I'll bet the locals are still laughing at them! "They keep digging up our garbage!" ha hahaa! "Oh, look, they found the foundation of the old farm house!" ho hohoho! Only the cows at several of the dig sites looked more unimpressed by this show than I was.

The worst part of this series is that on ep 6 they indicated that they're going to Mexico, next season.....NNNOOOOOoooooooooo...!

Here's a tip for a better chance of success for finding treasure, boys - either look for dropped coins on the sidewalks of New York, or go back to Chicago and re-search Capone's vault. I'm sure Geraldo missed something!

Shame of the documentary film category, like oak island. ...every seconds you hear... "we will be die"... "we are in dangerous", ahaa.. Discovery paid lot of money for figurants. The filmmakers thinks about the viewers, they are all of them stupid.

We like every one like a good story but this lot are a complete joke - i have watched 5 episodes and now on the 6th - these guys have just worked out that pablo's money has gone and now after his pals stuff- This show continues to annoy me - i thought that discovery would at least entertain some real guys it all seems fake and as for the ex CIA i dont believe that at all. Just a couple of pretenders in fact Jokers.

It makes me want to get my shovel out and go out there with a camera and actully give you a real show - it would have been alot more exciting than this drivel. shame i was really wanting this to be a good show............

this is the most stupid discovery show i've ever watched. i mean this is the first discovery show that is stupid enough that should be banned from discovery. i mean c'mon four episodes of blah blah blah -_- two military man talking and talking. at least cut a little bit crap out and show some interesting stuff.

Should be called 'Not Finding Escobar's Millions' instead.

I managed to watch all 12 episodes of this show, just to find out if they uncovered any money or gold in their search. However, I was horrified to find out that they never uncovered anything. What a waste of time! In my opinion, they should not be allowed to use the word 'finding' in the title, because they never found anything at all. Do not waste your time on this series.

Having consumed a lot of Pablo Escobar history (thank you Netflix Narcos), I was really excited to see this show because I always wondered what happened to all that cash that was allegedly buried. I don't watch Treasure Hunting shows because they are waste of time as show creators just string the viewers along. However, I thought this show had some credence, particularly given that Escobar was reportedly making $60M/day and was forced to bury cash.

The first couple episodes contained some drama as you could almost feel the anxiety caused by the people of Medellin who are clearly still protective of Pablo. Unfortunately the show didn't pick up, and I found myself fast-forwarding through the 6 episodes looking to see if they actually found any money. I assumed with 6 episodes, the creators would have edited it so that at least "some" money was found, and the viewers could be treated and enticed into watching #7.

SELF-ISOLATION

Caught my attention while locked within the 4 walls of my house, for some reason I invested hours of my time watching full series 1 then half of season 2...all this did was make me angry, if for some reason you desire to be supremely disappointed every 15mins throughout the program watch this...the plot is as follows,

Talk to Pablos uncles sisters dog, go to location, interview of how promising they feel and optimistic they are, build hype, build suspense, FIND NOTHING, FIND NOTHING, FIND NOTHING, REPEAT...the most exciting point was when they found a metal lid, probably from a Colombian Beans Tin.

Take my advice, if you want to waste 12HOURS of your time, go into your back garden dig a hole until you find a bottlecap, HEY PRESTO, you've found more than these guys.

I wish I'd read the reviews.

I have watched the first four episodes, and it just dawned on me, is this all a big spoof show. Between repeated scenes and the two main' actors' telling us repeatedly about their high tech equipment and how to get into Escobar's inner circle. I have started to doubt whether the two main presenters have been in the CIA. A waste of good viewing time.
