Heart-warming

Warning: Spoilers
This episode takes a different dynamic than the previous episodes and it delivers. It's great to see some of the characters getting along for a change. Louis Litt is magnificent as always and steals the spotlight every time an episodes delves more into his psyche. An interesting approach to see Gretchen get some more screen time, as she is definitely an underrated and powerful character.

An extremely gripping and intense episode that somehow manages to be light-hearted and exhilarating at the same time. Even though it was suspiciously convenient, i'm glad that the prison case has been dealt with along with tensions that rose with it; although it is a little odd that Mike & Harvey were basically asking for trouble this episode.

I really hope that Rick Hoffman receives the recognition he deserves by managing to portray such a complex and troubled character such as Louis Litt. Witnessing all the different states Louis is experiencing along with how he reacts has always been integral to the show, but it was never as insightful and wonderfully implemented as it is this season.

In the heart of all the conflicts and characters' motivations are the interpersonal relationships that define the show in addition to its signature 'swagger' and fluctuating pace. The interpersonal connections really stand out throughout this episode, and in doing so, show us how far some of these characters have come and further emphasizes their development.

Several characters getting their time to shine while the show is exploring new ground along with maintaining the wonderful recognizable atmosphere that we have become accustomed to. Another great episode from one the best seasons yet. Let's hope that 'Suits' will be renewed for at least one more season, as it hasn't lost its touch; not one bit.

Pushed to the Limit

This episode helps us see what happens when the people we like have to face unfair treatment. A guy named Malick is after Harvey and wants to destroy him in court. He has won numerous cases in a row for the Justice Department. He seems squeaky clean, but he fights dirty, and Harvey will have none of that. He goes full bore. The guy also attacks Donna's competency and embarrasses her in front of the judge. While this is going on, Louis hooks up with one of his associates whom he has groomed. The two of them go after an adversary. But he guy makes a mistake and Louis has to back off and not use his usual vicious approach.

Not as well written as usual

It is as if the usual writers went on vacation and this episode was written by a different set of 'not-as-good' writers.

The story is more 'primitive' than the well-crafted plots that suits has gotten us used to.

Many of the elements in this episode are far fetched to the point of not being believable.

I hope that this is the last episode from the new set of writers.

This is the first episode of Suits that I did not enjoy.
