I've just watched the first two episodes about the "Pendle Hill witches" and cannot believe the ignorance - especially of presenter Sean! He actually calls these poor women "witches", asks to hear their cackle as if they are in a pantomime with green skin and accuses them of casting spells and doing "nasty things" to people!?! Perhaps he genuinely doesn't realise that innocent women were accused of being witches in order to persecute, abuse, torture and kill them, but considering these facts, calling them witches and further tarnishing their names with verbal abuse is cruel and rude. Hopefully their spirits aren't still there and they didn't have to endure further hunting and taunting.
Also, a couple of side notes:
Facing the camera towards your face rather than the area you're investigating only serves to entertain your ego - the viewer would need to see the surrounding areas at all times to have any chance of being entertained;
People are hanged and not "hung".
