Octavia is BACK in One of the Best Episodes Yet
Splarke222 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Dare I call this one of the best The 100 episodes ever? This episode focused completely on Octavia & the bunker. It was absolutely dark & chilling, showing just what it takes for Octavia to control/lead Wonkru. That badass Octavia scene slaying the grounders & her at the end of the episode 6 years later gave me complete chills. The only downside to this episode was seeing Jaha go out in such a heartbreaking way.. at least he'll see Wells again. I didn't expect 5x02 to top the premiere, but it absolutely did!!! 10/10 episode!

We get to see how they managed to survive in the bunker. The story is dark, gore and savage. This episode is good. fun to watch.

Octavia has to take a stand to save the bunker from starvation.

So... I am really lost for words with this episode. This was absolutely amazing. I did not expect The 100 to shock me again after the season 4 finale. But it did. And I loved every second of it.

The acting was top notch, except for one of the new characters. There was this one scene that stood out as not as good, but overall it was believable. So I have not much to complain about in this department.

I love the dark route this story takes. But be prepared. It really is a dark route.

Octavia stood her ground in this episode, which I loved. She used to be a bit annoying to me if I am honest, but with this episode I am definitely a fan of hers. Indra and Gaia have an interesting relationship together, but it is also pretty distant. I am interested to see if we see any development there. I am very happy that Eric Jackson and Nathan Miller get more screentime. I really hope they get their own arcs as well. They were actually the light in all this darkness this episode for me.

And the ending left me absolutely speechless.

So yes. The 100 is back. It is so freaking back. I can't wait for the next episode.

The Octavia show!!
Cuddles10011 September 2019
Just starting to catch up on the 100 as I missed the first three episodes of this season last year so didn't watch the rest! Yeh there was some lazy writing the whole let's put a strong emotional connection between two characters so when they die you feel bad! Aside from that Octavia totally made up for that and the first episode which was pretty poor! Octavia has pretty much always been my favourite character but this episode she totally exceeded my expectations what an amazing bad ass!!!!!!!!

You are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru
Neptune1654 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I honestly think you'll LOVE THIS SEASON!. Abby's one to talk, since she had her husband floated and her daughter sent to the ground with the slim to no chance that Clarke would survive. A lot of people didn't like this version of Octavia but I loved it. This episode is one of the absolute best! She is without question the best character on this show. You are in for a wild ride. You are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru. Choose ! I love Octavia. I love how complex she is, how she has evolved throughout the show. She was never all this or all that, she's always been one of the most nuanced and flawed character of the show and I love that. Fun fact: Back when the first episode of season 5 premiered, there were a lot of interviews with various actors and actresses on the show. One of them was with the actresses who portray Octavia and Indra. One of the questions was what we could expect from Jaha's development throughout season 5, and it was funny to see how they really had to think because they couldn't spoil that he's going to die in episode 2. But Indra's actress managed to pull it really well by saying something along the lines of that the audience will enjoy the storyline and that he is an amazing actor. So funny to rewatch that interview after seeing this episode. As o said there is only one crew so Caine did do something to end up in the ring only people that break the law end up there.

So now it's Rome...
mdb-0653029 January 2024
So about 46 days into bunker living and guess what? No one gets along! Gee what I surprise. Now we have the direct comparisons to Rome which only means one thing, there will be a coup attempt at some point on Octavia. True, it's been six years under one leader which must be some sort of record, but ultimately all kingdoms fall and the reign of Octavia will come to an end.

Speaking of her, not sure why all of you think she's so great as a leader, as she has said she is a warrior not a leader. Her performance at the door was bad ass and a great scene, but lets face it her solution is to get everyone to fight because she can't settle things any other way.

Finally, the series just needs excuses to show fighting and blood. Did we really think locking people, especially Grounders, in a bunker was going to solve anything? These people can't live with each other when they are miles apart.

Having said all of that, I am sticking with it.
