The story charts a student who seeks out his former tutor, a writer/professor, to help with his writer's block. Following the discovery of an old grave in the professor's garden, he is arrested on suspicion of murdering a young girl who disappeared in the area decades earlier. The former student sets out to help his mentor and try and prove his innocence.
