The story of the film is ages old and has nothing much to offer. The villain gang, boring episodes in the second half deviate the interest of the audience constantly. The comedy in the second half lacks the basic punch.

It is good to see Brahmanadam in a full-length role after a very long time. He is good in his comedy and does what is expected of him.

Brahmanadam's love track with Surekha Vani evokes few laughs here and there.

Achari America Yathra - Family Oriented Movie

The combination of director G Nageshwar Reddy and Vishnu Manchu is a successful one as they have delivered hits together.

The combination of Vishnu and Brahmanandam is also a hit combo. When they all teamed up for "Achari America Yatra", it raised expectations.

Appalacharya (Brahmanandam) and Krishnamacharya (Vishnu), these poojaris do poojas and homams and that is their livelihood.

Krishnamacharya falls for the charms of America-returned beauty Renuka. After an incident, Krishna convinces his guru to head to USA to do homams there.

What happens when these poojaris land in USA forms the rest of the drama. This is not the first time that Vishnu is playing the role of a Brahmin poojari. His attire is good.Vishnu Manchu is master in playing such roles. He once again leaves his mark with some good jokes.Pragya Jaiswal provides some glam show. The film has huge ensemble cast.

"Vishnu Manchu is the best thing about Achari America Yathra. He brilliantly plays the lead role, and keeps the entertainment quotient extremely high. He even pulls out emotional sequences very well and excels in the excellently choreographed and well executed, brilliantly shot action sequences. Vishnu manchu is very impressive in the role he plays.

Rest of the cast does a good job.

The action is excellent, as said before, and the cinematography is splendid. The background score is terrific and the visual effects are extremely impressive. The film provides not only a very decent humour, but also some gripping edge-of- the-seat thrills. The ending was quite impressive and the climax was quite an amazing one.Vishnu Manchu has done his best throughout the film.

The screenplay is excellent, and the editing is decent. Overall, Achari America yathra is another excellent comedy entertainer from Vishnu Manchu."

Good story line and narration. Vishnu Manchu action and emotions were really nice in the movie. Our Pragya Jaiswal glamour is as usually good. He is the hero of this generation to entertain youth and family. A good family entertainer with love and romance in this monsoon..

The concept of the film is interesting and the actor vishnu manchu has acted in the film well .On the whole, Achari America Yathra is a simple and neat family entertainer which has been made with no unnecessary deviations. It has decent moments in both the halves and the suspense is carried out neatly. Barring this, the film has a classy feel and attracted multiplex audience. Especially watch this movie for vishnu manchu and brahmanandam, you will not regret it. But the true hero of this tale is vishnu manchu who delivers a stupendous performance in the screen-time he has.

Awesome movie, you can watch this movie back to back for his style and comedy scenes and his dialogue delivery. Climax scene can't able to predict. Vishnu Manchu move to next level once again he proved he is the best actor.

The movie had no boring scene. Songs and BGM in the movie was also so good. Fight scenes in the movie was also excellent. Sound effects in the movie was also so good. Vishnu Manchu, Brahmanandam and everybody acted very well in the movie. Overall, Achari America Yathra is an all in all Vishnu manchu show with good thrilling moments and strong cast.

"Vishnu Manchu track with Brahmanandam evokes few laughs here and there. Kota Srinivasa Rao is seen in a good role and his presence adds a lot of depth to the film in the first half.

Coming to the Vishnu Manchu, he dishes out good comedy in his films.It is good to see Brahmi in a full-length role after a very long time. He is good in his comedy and does what is expected of him. Pragya Jaiswal looks cute and has a decent role in the film. As always, she looks good in Indian attire and ably supports Vishnu."

A feel good family entertainer movie

Production values are top notch. The film looks rich in every frame and gives you that authentic feel of a comedy entertainer. Special mention to the camera work as the film has been showcased in a very good manner. The montage shots, scenes covering various cities and the resort setup look realistic. Music by Thaman is decent but his background score was even better. Dialogues by Darling Swamy are apt and suit the mood of the film. vishnu manchu has been styled quite well in the film.

Coming to the director G. Nageswara Reddy, he has done a good job with the film. He chooses a simple story but has executed it nicely with a gripping screenplay. The manner in which he unleashes all the loopholes in the family entertainer looks good in the first half and sets up a good tone for the later part. His detailing for small and minute properties which are attached to the story have been written an executed well.

"Manchu Vishnu acted best in this comedy oriented role with good characterization and the perfect script . Pragya Jaiswal as Renuka did a decent job. Contrary to her girl-next-door image ,she comfortably handled this mass role with ease.

Priest Krishnamachari ( Vishnu ) , and his Guru ( Brahmanandam ) performs 'homam' at bad guy Raju's( Pradeep Rawat ) house. As things go wrong, head of the house ( Kota Srinivasa Rao ) passes away. Believing Krishna & co as bad omen , Raju tries to kill them. To escape from life threat, Krishnamachari plans to hideaway in USA.

The rest of the story is how Krishna escapes from Raju and what is the real reason behind his runaway to USA.

On the whole, Achari America Yatra is a super hit film which success in all segments. The good plot, excellent direction and good humor-laced scenes makes this an super hit film."

Vishnu Manchu's Entertainer Movie

"Manchu Vishnu has played a similar kind of role in the past. Yet again, he has portrayed his part very well and impressed one and all. Brahmanandam also played his part very well in the film and impressed everyone.

Pragya Jaiswal appears beautiful but she does have the required scope for performance in the movie. The comedy from the actors like Prabhas Srinu, Posani Krishna Murali and Prudhvi is decent. The other actors like Surekha Vani, Pradeep Singh Rawat, Thakur Anoop Singh and others are good in their limited roles and made their presence felt.

The cinematography of the movie is decent. The editing by M R Varma is good. The music by S S Thaman is pleasant and all the songs have come out well in the movie. The picturisation of the songs is neat. The background score of the movie is also impressive. Both the camera work and the music is in sync with the flow. The production values of Padmaja Pictures are lavish."

"Vishnu Manchu has the reputation for delivering entertaining comedy capers with mass touch.He has a good sense of humor. Expectations are high on this Vishnu Manchu and Brahmanandam combination. A minimum guarantee is what anticipated from this combination.

A good plot, logic sequences, good dialogues with high voltage comedy are the highlights. The core story line : to immerse ashes of the deceased family head in Holy city Kashi, which forms the second half, is at all interesting. Manchu Vishnu's and Brahmanandam comedyack is very good written.

S S Thaman is the music director of the film.

Thaman has given Extra-ordinary music. all song are catchy. Cinematography and production values are rich. Editing is good. Darling Swamy's dialogues are mixed bag.

Comedy Entertainer Movie

Vishnu Manchu body language and screen presence brings a lot of depth to the proceedings. Vishnu Manchu's acting in one particular scene in the flashback is enough to say how he carries any given role with utmost perfection. Vishnu is handsome and did a decent job in him good screen presence.

Director G. Nageswara Reddy's vision and his paperwork is clearly visible on the screen. Though his story is a similar one like any other crime thrillers, The Director succeeded to an extent in writing a racy and engaging screenplay. The way film opens and how all the twists in the tale are revealed is nice.

Editing by S.R. Shekhar is good but he could have kept the love track between Vishnu Manchu and Pragya Jaiswal short and sweet by chopping it slightly. Cinematography by R. Siddharth is brilliant as he captured the mood of the film in a proper manner. Music by Thaman is not up to the mark as four songs which come in the proceedings are not catchy but his background score is impressive in parts. Production values for this limited budget film are rich.

"Achari(Vishnu) and his group of pundits get into a tussle during one of their puja ceremony involving Pradeep Rawat and his gang. Scared that the bad guys will kill them, Achari and his team escapes to America silently. After a while, things are revealed in such a way it was Achari who willingly brought everyone to America with a plan. What is that plan? Who is in America? and where does Pragya Jaiswal feature in this entire set up? That forms the rest of the story.

One of the basic assets of the film is Vishnu Manchu and Brahmanandam's chemistry. Whenever they appear on screen, things look quite good and happy. Vishnu evokes good comedy in his role and does well in crucial scenes where he showcases his heroism.

It is a great family entertainer. This movie does not have any vulgar scenes. So you can have fun watching this with your family. Vishnu Manchu style, dance and action were great. There is no scene in the movie which showed any decline of Vishnu Manchu's performance. Pragya Jaiswal Looked hot and did good acting. she gave her best. Songs are beautiful with good costumes. Thaman gave great background music. Raised the movie level.

I was more impressed with the movie than the trailer. The trailer looked average but after watching the movie I really appreciated. Excellent narration and screen play..Ultimate acting, dance by Vishnu Manchu. The movie was a commercial super hit because the response I saw around during the movie was incredible. Huge positive response!! I appreciate all the artists of this movie and wish them all the best!

Veteran novelist Malladi Venkata Krishna Moorthy wrote the comedy novel "Achari America Yatra" in 1990s. Based on this novel, the film is made with current USA setup. The novel was a fun ride.Director G Nageshwar Reddy has turned this comedy plot into an action drama.

All those who wished to see another ""Dhee"" or ""Doosukeltha"", will be in for another great movie."

'Achari America Yatra', starring Manchu Vishnu and Brahmanandam in key roles

"Achari America Yatra', starring Manchu Vishnu, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmanandam in key roles.

Krishnamachari (Manchu Vishnu), Brahmanandam, Prabhas Sreenu and Praveen are a group of 'achaaris' who make a living by performing homams, etc.

During their stay at the household of a rich family headed by an old man (played by Kota Srinivas Rao), certain unforeseen incidents take place. The old man dies during a homam. By a quirk of fate, the four achaaris are blamed for his untimely death. They run for their lives.

Upon Krishnamachari convincing the other three that they can be safe only in America, the four men air-dash to that country. They end up at the house of a ruthless man (played by Thakur Anup Singh), who turns out to be the relative of the ones wanting to kill them in India. This man is going to get married to Renuka (Pragya Jaiswal), whom our hero first knew while he was at Kota's house.

What is on Krishnamachari's mind? Will he and his fellow achaaris be able to save their skin? That's the rest of the film for you.
