When Cartoon Network/WB debuted "Teen Titans", it was one of the first shows to feature kid superheroes as serious and complex individuals with relatable teen issues. Even though the series was eventually canceled, it struck a chord with an enormous fan-base and after years of demand, a follow-up series was created: Teen Titans Go. However, the new series focused more on the wacky slapstick angle of it's predecessor, leaving some fans wanting more of the original's seriousness and dark storytelling. Could the reason for this change be because the new show is taken from the perspective of Beast Boy, the most childish member of the superhero team???

Sure, society could be to blame but what if the reason for the kids' mature humor was because they're actually just adults exaggerating stories from their childhood? Find out on this awesome episode of Cartoon Conspiracy.

"Beauty and the Beast" is one of the most treasured Disney animated films of all time, and it's only made better by it's incredible cast characters. And it just so happens that one particular film shares similar traits with the comic, in that it follows an individual whose friend/voice of reason tells them what to do. This week, Emily will attempt to connect "Calvin and Hobbes" to the classic psychological cult film "Fight Club".
