I wish that it was set during Halloween :) But I do love a good ghost story! I like that they were there for some other reason other than to "ghost hunt." That idea has worn itself out. Keep up the good work!

No Hollywood budget yet better jumps and story than the "Ghost Shows." Don't go in expecting an over produced Hollywood jump scare but the genius of this film is that it really did happen. Why Blumhouse hasn't done an actual haunted house setup is beyond me....and is also probably why they were interested in this project.

I was looking for something I had not yet seen to put me in the Halloween spirit and this did the trick. Such a great movie to watch. I highly recommend.

Found footage usually lacks the atmosphere for me because it seems like they usually don't use sound effects, music etc. I loved that And Then it Goes Dark did. It sets the mood and helps carry over some of the slower parts. And I loved that there were hints of humor throughout. Great work!

It's hard to make a good film on a small budget. When I saw that they only spent $1500, and that was to rent the location...I did not have high hopes. But I was pleasantly surprised! This is definitely worth the watch, especially since it's free to watch on youtube lol :)

Because this footage was real there are actually parts they did not even address where you can find more paranormal evidence. If you slow down the footage when they are walking back to Austin's room right after the camera turned on by itself you can see the face of a little girl near the camera. It freaked me out.

Well worth the watch

The location is stunning, cinematography is great, and I heard this was a true story. Regardless if it was or not, there was never a point when I doubted what I was watching. Most of the time in found footage or any low budget film there are moments when the acting is so bad that it brings you out of the moment. This was never the case here, so if it wasn't real, that was some great acting.

I loved how authentic this was, not over produced, not over acted (even though they say it's real...it could still have terrible acting and overreactions like the ghost shows). I think they did a great job of timing the scary bits. Too much gets old fast. If it is real...I hope everyone's okay!
