Adult Phoebe (19): No, listen. You are waiting for him to ride up and choose you. That's not your game because you're a giant. You could, you could fuck up anybody you wanted. You could have anything you wanted. Do you even know that?

Reseña destacada
This episode gets a 9, this season gets a 7, because...
...this season is basically a long dragged out episode of Law & Order SVU.
The entire dominatrix to cause pain to Ambrose is just a dramatical red herring. Plus Pullman seemed to drag his feet to the point I wanted to slap him to start acting and give his lame zombie-like character some life.
Although the directing was great, having a 2 second blank screen between acts, makes the slower than a snail pacing that much more annoying.
As mentioned, this could've been condensed to one episode, maybe two of Law & Order SUV, a a full length feature film, if you want to include some of the unnecessary dramatics.
Overall, an interesting long dragged out crime thriller, without that much crime or thrills.
7/10 for season 1, 9/10 for this episode. Not sure if I'll tackle season 2
