Another great episode

It's rather interesting how they explore the characters' pasts and how certain things happened, episodes like this really do clear up a lot of questions about certain developments. It's also lovely that Jessica keeps returning even though the last season was supposedly her last. Her involvement in the story is integral and it's always a pleasure to see her on screen. Great playlists as usual, along with beautiful establishing shots. Louis Litt remains the best part of the season so far in my opinion as the story delves more into his character, and Rick Hoffman does not disappoint at any point whatsoever. Even though the psychiatrist isn't the one that's pretty much on display, his interactions with Louis are not only insightful, but extremely entertaining. A very informative episode to say the least. Season thankfully continues to deliver superbly.

When flashbacks are used to keep the writers from having to do their jobs, they are superfluous and wasteful. That is hardly the case here. We get looks into the past that help us understand who each character is. We already know Mike's and Harvey's stories, but we don't know that ugliness that can be a factor in a big law firm. The guys that are no longer there are still flexing muscles at times from the cheap seats. There is still great resentment toward Jessica from some of these. We also get a look at Robert as a young man and the pain he has carried most of his adult life. He felt he really betrayed his sister even though helping her would have ruined him. Louis is very interesting because he was a top recruit (and amazing talents), and yet he has so many psychological quirks that he is almost dangerous, to himself and others. He wants to be liked but can't handle a modicum of criticism. Revenge is always the first thing on his mind. Great character; perfect casting.

What an episode Full Disclosure was
ravmeltt24 August 2017
At first I was a bit confused with the past and the present clashing in this episode, but then I decided to look at it more closely, and what an episode.

First let me say how thrilled I was to see Jessica (Gina Torres) back even if it's just for this episode. What a breath of fresh air she always is. That woman could read the telephone book and make it sound interesting. When she walks into the room, it lights up! Anyhow every one played their parts so well. It was good to see Louis in bygone days and how he started therapy and how he got started with the associates. It was good to see Donna and Harvey back in the day when she was his secretary. It is good to get an answer to what has been going on with Alex.

Mike is passionate as usual in what he believes and you want to hit him over the head and still root for him.

I thought this show was heading out but it is still as good as ever, and with the special appearances by Gina Torres, makes it even better. I just can't stop watching.

HARD CHOICES

Damn what a filling episode. Had everything in it.

Great follow through to what happened.

People take wrong steps when they're bitter sweet.

~ It's an Irony that Louis felt he wasn't respected even after the promotion and Harvey feels he wasn't respected by denying the promotion. XD nobody's happy.

All this tells you is that our feelings are in our hands. How much you respect yourself reflects on how you treat others.

~ Wondering what Mike's other step is gonna be.

More of a filler episode

I disagree with the positive reviews. I found this to be a place holder that did not move the story forward or tell us anything new about the characters. It was not bad but if you are binge watching then it's an easy skip.
