Goofs

When Don scans the terrain with his binoculars, the sky is overcast with dense clouds, but when the view is from within the binoculars themselves, the weather is mainly sunny with a few cumulus clouds.

West tells Dr. Smith that the rocks in the terrain are sharp and would cut through her normal shoes quickly (thus convincing her to wear the dead person's boots). To illustrate his point, West takes some dirt into his hands, and his fingers start bleeding as he rolls the dirt between his fingers. Unless the chicken weights considerably less than a human wearing a heavy suit and carrying stuff, therefore there would be less pressure on it's feet and less likely to get it's feet cut.

However, the chicken apparently has no problem walking around on the sharp stones, as when West picks it up later, you can see its feet are fine. The chicken has been moving around on the terrain, so if what West said was true about how sharp everything was, it's doubtful the chicken would have escaped unharmed.

The wreckage of the Jupiter 17 includes items that either are or are made to look like jet engine components. The Jupiters have no aerodynamic control surfaces and are designed to fly in space so would not have jet engines but some form of "future tech".

When the robot catches up with Will on the cliff, its chest is heaving. The actor was breathing hard.
