A favorite video of mine, as a parody of Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to Love' video featuring tight-hair professional women in little black dresses and blank expressions playing the backup band: Michelle's answer was to feature beautiful men in suits as the backup.

From her Facebook post Nov 30, 2019: " Hello friends and fans of Michelle Shocked,
I'm really sorry about this, but I can no longer allow covers of my songs on YouTube. The simple explanation is that YouTube is now distributing unlicensed content to other platforms; (I discovered it on Shazam but there are probably plenty of others) and it is no longer a simple favor to allow your nice, unlicensed cover to exist on YouTube. If you have covers of my music uploaded to YouTube, I ask that you remove it by Dec. 3rd, or I will have to send a DMCA notification for copyright infringement. Again, I'm so sorry that Google's greed and exploitation of artists and creators has created this situation. Thanks for understanding.
Love,
Michelle"
