When I found out about this series I was very excited, first because I loved Narcos and it was promised to be the Spanish version of Narcos and second because I, as a portuguese, am very familiar with the region this series depicts almost every summer I spend there my holydays.
It was as good as advertised, similar to Narcos but not a knockoff, it as it's own style and does not fall for the usual 80's lifestyle cliches. Also it gets right on many of Galicia's costumes traditions and manner of speaking.
The one thing that I didn't like was the pacing of the episode, that appears to be a recurring theme during the series, as it goes through many happenings to fast which doesn't let the viewer truly mesh with the psichology of the protagonists and their character evolution
