Funny videos, unfunny people
ABigFatOrange122 August 2020
This show shows some hilarious moments and stuff that is amazing. I enjoy it alot IF they decided not to get random people to just talk every five seconds and just slow down the video overall. Like bruh, we just want to watch the video, not have these random strangers we don't know of just talk over it.

When Kids TV Goes Horribly Wrong
jboothmillard8 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
When I read about this documentary programme advertised, I recognised a couple of the things mentioned that would be included, and I had my guesses of what else may be included, so I was really looking forward to watching. Basically the show was a three hour collection of clips, focusing on the mostly negative moments on televised kids television shows, including live shows, entertainment shows, pre-school shows, educational shows, public information films, music shows, puppet shows, cartoons and many more. These moments included embarrassing incidents, inappropriate material, accidents and shocks, presenters fluffing lines, guests and incidents causing controversy, material that scared children, bad phone-ins and much more, in Britain and/or around the world.

Popular kids TV going wrong included: SM:TV with Ant & Dec and Cat Deeley sees Dec fall to the ground, in an inappropriate April Fool's Day prank; and Blue Peter presenter Ayo Akinwolere dropping the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree star. More popular kids TV going wrong included: the original Bungle from Rainbow was terrifying; Blue Peter with a group of girl guides has a fake camp become a real and very smoky one; Blue Peter with Matt Baker and Simon Thomas unable to open large doors to let in a bagpipe band; and the Blue Peter garden is vandalised. Live kids TV going wrong included: Going Live! with Transvision Vamp singer Wendy James saying she doesn't normally wear knickers; Saturday Superstore with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher being asked by a girl caller where she would be if there is a nuclear war; and a Dick & Dom in da Bungalow phone-in competition gets hilariously confusing with little girl Charley Nunley and her nan not understanding what is going on. Black-and-white kids TV and going wrong, and controversy caused included: Bozo the Clown has a problem with balloons not dropping and the set collapses; Blue Peter sees Valerie Singleton crashing during a motorboat race; Blue Peter in the deserts of Morocco with some camel owners who do not understand English and Valerie Singleton falls off a camel; and CBeebies Bedtime Stories has controversy with presenter Cerrie Burnell apparently "scaring children", she was born with a right arm that ends just below the elbow. Presenters going wrong, animals behaving badly and inappropriate material on kids TV included: Diversity members Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely forgetting their lines; How 2 with Gareth Jones has an owl not flying past a microphone as planned; How 2 with Gail McKenna sees two dogs having sex; Multi-Coloured Swap Shop with Noel Edmonds has young boy Nigel Bowles with militaria, Nazi memorabilia, including a swastika flag and grenades; CD:UK with Slash from Guns N Roses mentioning a blowjob and swearing; and former Teletubbies star Pui Fan Lee (Po) starring as a lesbian in raunchy comedy drama Metrosexuality. More live kids TV going wrong included: Bernard Manning on Tiswas on a weighing machine that blows up and rubble falls on him, he had a heart attack not long before; SM:TV with Ant reading the hilarious "eggy pumps" email; classic show Pixanne with a ring of fire, with flames that cannot be put out by the fire extinguisher; and Brazilian live show Programa do Ratinho with a fire breather, his face and the floor catch fire. Kids TV from other countries going wrong included: Swedish show Bon has a chef puppet using a condom to make haggis, including putting a full sausage in it; classic American show Super Circus with a trapeze artist, her swing frame breaks while performing and she falls to the floor, then a child performer uses it after; Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin on Australian show Tele Club with a python around his neck and biting him; The Early Bird Show from Australia with a kangaroo becoming agitated, attacking the mascot Marty the Monster and it keeps kicking his handler; and Cambodian show Penh Chet Ort (Like It or Not) with young singer Autumn Allen assuming she is being surprised by her long-lost mother appearing, but instead a drag artist comes out, a failed joke. Embarrassing kids TV moments included: magician Alan Shaxon making a girl disappear, but then she ruins the illusion by standing up; The Den with a phone-in caller not understanding a "yes" or "no" guessing game, asking random questions about the pig puppet Snotser; reporter Sofia Okada at a county fair with five-year-old child Noah acting like a reporter and repeating the word "apparently"; and All Over the Workplace sees children Charlotte and Henrietta putting Andrew Neil in his place talking politics. Kids cartoons going wrong included: The Flintstones being sexist, and Fred and Barney smoking Winston cigarettes; a Pokémon episode with strobe effects that gave children epileptic fits; and Porky Pig swearing, an unbroadcast reel made for the amusement of the Warner Bros. staff. The last moments featuring public information films going wrong included: The Spirit of Dark and Lonely Water, with the voice of Donald Pleasance, warning about children playing near water; The ABC of Sex Education for Trainables, a public information film for children with special needs, with bad acting and embarrassing dialogue, with a mother talking to her son after catching him masturbating; and Boys Beware, a warning about homosexuals, now highly offensive and derogatory.

I had my guesses what kids TV moments would be included, the bad ones, the funny ones and the awkward ones, I always enjoy the nostalgia seeing these moments again, but it was good to learn about those I did not know, and the serious stuff as well, overall it was an interesting and watchable documentary.

Narrated by Andi Peters, with contributions from Toby Anstis, Stephen Bailey, Cerrie Bernell, Andrea Boardman, Pandora Christie, Sarah Greene, Jenny Hanley, Michelle Heaton, Tiswas presenter Sally James, Union J singer Casey Johnson, How 2 presenter Gareth Jones, Roman Kemp (Martin's son), Shappi Khorsandi, original Bungle actor John Leeson, Francine Lewis, Vicki Michelle, Stuart Miles, Charley Nunley, Ray Quinn, Pat Sharp, Valerie Singleton, Trevor & Simon, Anthea Turner and Anna Williamson. Very good!
