The whole production was filmed in one week, from monday to monday.
The red pick-up that they drive around in actually belongs to the Boom Handler.
While production was under way, it only rained in two separate occasions. Both in days coincided with the filming in location at Cerro El Baul, where actually rain was needed for mood.
In the scene where Paco is about to be shot in the Cerro Quemado, he screams as his last words "Ques ques ques mi sooo!". A production cry that got the cast and crew fired up and ready to roll. This was changed on location, for the original scripted scream was, "Oliverio Vive!". The crew felt the scripted scream didn't carry the same energy once on location.
Carlos Hernandez is also known as El Gordo, and is really a talented, well known musician. The original song for the movie was writen by him during Production week and is the one heard in the initial credits.
