A Strong Episode from Suits
enterzec4 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This was an incredible episode of Suits until the very last-minute when Mike (Patrick J. Adams) decided to go against what he promised to Harvey (Gabriel Macht). This episode worked so well because we got to see Harvey, Mike, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Alex (Dulé Hill) work together to try to stop the attack against the firm. They had to forget their differences and band together, we saw Mike step in and save Harvey out of trouble and even Louis showed some gratitude when Alex saved one of Louis's top clients.

Donna (Sarah Rafferty) was good in this episode, to some degree because this was one of the few times we actually saw Donna fail at something, she couldn't find out who was feeding the other firm with information. Towards the end of the episode we find out that Jessica (Gina Torres) was the one doing it, but only because the firm would attack Pearson Specter Litt anyways and she wanted to try to make Harvey and Louis fight with each other instead of against one another. I really like the dynamic that's been created with Alex joined the firm.

Then we have the bad part and that's Mike going against not only his word to Harvey but his written agreement that state that he would not help Oliver (Jordan Jonson-Hinds) in his case for the clinic. I don't want this entire season to be about this case or Mike once again dragging down this firm, I want him, Harvey and the rest of them to fight against other firms or major clients. Robert Zane played superbly by Wendell Pierce returned and gave some good advice towards Rachel's (Meghan Markle) and Mike's relationship. Overall a really great episode with Wendell Pierce and Gina Torres appearances as the highlights.

Score: 8/10 (Great)

UNITE AND CONQUER

Warning: Spoilers
We're getting there slowly .

A good boss knows how to handle internal conflicts .

Not only this episode determined that fact but also showed that Jessica's magnanimity .

~ Meanwhile the take on marriage was awesome by the writer .

Rachel and Mike , both are at the extremes of their career orientation especially after Mike getting out , so the concept of marriage is felt to be secondary .

Here comes the reassurance and clarity part .

Plus Robert Zane always puts fuel on fire .

TBH , the show is pushing it but I've no faith in Donna's actions as a associate manager and even more than that Rachel's lawyer skills .

The kinda vibe is missing in their character and actions .

It doesn't come from both of them , like it does with Mike and Harvey .

Their presence has a different feel .

~ Jessica behind the scene was perfect , didn't expect it .

PS : I ain't liking mike's position on this , he specifically said he won't work on that case. Promises mean something and especially to the person you're making them to .

Is the case worth breaking that promise ? NOPE !

One of the best seasons so far

Another great episode that hits all the right notes. Wonderful music as usual. Much of the conflict that takes place is what you would come to expect from a 'Suits' episode, but it somehow remains fresh and enthralling regardless. Everybody is trying to adjust to their new position and it's still interesting to see how each character copes with the consistently changing situations. Even though many of them continue to break the rules, its always intriguing to see how they reconcile with one another and solve the problems that they often cause. Worth the watch.

Continuing the Story
Hitchcoc8 September 2023
We now have Alex joining the trio, plus Mike out there doing his own thing. In reality, he shouldn't even still be around. He can't be trusted and will take down clients and associates with him if it serves his "moral" feelings. The last scene has terrible implications. Meanwhile, Louis has finally exploded and we see scenes with his therapist, trying to get him under control. Rachel gets to plan the wedding (who cares--this is the most tiresome part of this show). I can't stand the scenes where MIke comes home and they commiserate. Harvey realizes that someone is leaking information to another firm, and the person comes as quite a surprise.
