One thing that keeps McMafia on the move is the various international locales. You start off in Egypt with a young Russian woman being forcibly sex trafficked to some Bedouin Arabs before ending up in more convivial surroundings but still a sex worker.

Alex and Kaiman have teamed up to make life uncomfortable for Vadim, the gangster who sent Alex's dad, Dimitri in exile from Russia. Vadim has no doubts that Uncle Boris was not the brains behind the assassination attempt on him. Vadim regrets sparing Dimitri's life all those years ago.

Kaiman needs to find people in Prague and Mumbai he can do business with and he is adept in local negotiation customs, more so that Alex who thinks he has brokered a deal with one of the henchman in Prague who pops his boss.

However Dimitri has had enough of life in exile which is also endangering his family, causing the Godman family further consternation.

This is an episode where we see David Strathairn's Kaiman weaving his complex web. Even when he is frustrated you know it is all part of a plan. His Machiavellian outlook leaves Norton's Alex looking like a lamb to slaughter.
