There is literally nothing here to enjoy. Even if we ignore the pandering, the outright lies, and the bogus proclamations, at the very core of this show, it's just not funny. Not even a little.
The show seemed so full of potential. "A place where people can speak openly about troubling social issues and (hopefully) laugh with each other." That's exactly the kind of thing I love!
I used to identify and fight for liberal causes. I'm Asian, I'm non-binary and pansexual, I voted for Hillary Clinton. You would think this show would be something I'd enjoy, since it comes from a liberal perspective.
But it's just garbage. It's not even anger-inducing garbage, it's pure cringe. Seriously. This made me cringe more than the musical.ly app. Just let that sink in.
