Summaries

  • 3 short stories are connected by 3 rooms and accidental connections between them. All held together by a single lateral tracking shot.
  • Mostly accidental connections link three rooms and the destinies of those who live in or pass through them. There is a prostitute tired of her life, tied to reality only thanks to some TV programs eavesdropped between one client and the other; a group of wanted criminals who have to keep a young girl hostage; a veteran who fights against his incapability to walk. A night in Mumbai, the lives of all the characters get in touch in a strongly psychological and dramatic atmosphere. The scenes continuously swing between light and darkness, silence and sound, so that the whole short movie is characterized by the search of balance, which the characters find so hard to find. The camera slowly moves from one room to another, giving the spectator an overall picture of all the coincidences taking place in lives apparently so different from one another.—Aly Rana
